Joys of Parenting

It's so fun and I must say incredible to watch as Kaitlyn learns new things everyday. I captured some on video recently. True treasures.

Pregnancy

The pregnancy continues to go well and Kaitlyn is enjoying watching my tummy "grow, grow, grow." The other day she was eating her snack. I asked her if I could have one, which she so nicely declined. I then asked her if the baby could have one. She agrees, pulls up my shirt and proceeded to feed my tummy a snack. She was so sweet to share!

Kaitlyn's prayer

I just had to share Kaitlyn's prayer she said at lunch today. It was so precious I wrote it down so I could share it.

"Dear Father in heaven, thank you for the cows. Thank you for the stars. Thank you for the ABC's- next time won't you sing with me. Thank you for Daddy. Thank you for my cups. Thank you for Mommy. Thank you for Kaitlyn. Thank you for my food. Thank you for the cats. Thank you for loving me. Jesus name, Amen." Many times she thanks God for the "ketchups", spoons and forks as well.

Poor Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn had a sort of traumatic experience tonight! You know you see this on TV and you think, "My child wouldn't do that." Well, Kaitlyn did it. She got her head stuck in the dining room chair. She was crying and very scared but please know that she was not hurt at all. And of course, as good parents, we got it on video.

Hula Baby

Kaitlyn's favorite show to watch is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I just happened to catch her mimicking Minnie hula dancing.
