Growing and Growing and Growing

That's right! Our little girls are growing so quickly. Taylor is now 6 months and Kaitlyn will be 3 years old on March 4th. Taylor is sitting up and absolutely loves it! She can now be more of a part of what's going on. It'll be interesting to see when she crawls. She has the motivation just not the skills yet. She's ready to be off and running! I guess she has to keep up with Kaitlyn who is very energetic. She did try some finger food for the first time today! I'm sure you'll be able to figure out her response to that by looking at the pictures below.
Kaitlyn is really into playing games right now. She enjoys playing Mickey Mouse Yahtzee and The Lady Bug Game. I have also recently taught her how to play Uno. I, of course, take out the "fancy" cards. She does very well. It's really enjoyable teaching her how to play new games. There are so many great skills that come with learning how to play games! And no, she doesn't win every time. :) I think it's important for her to learn that others win games as well. Then, when she plays a game with her friends, she doesn't always have to be the winner. We talk about what a good sport is. She has taken well to it. We definitely have fun here in the Armes household. :)

Homemade Fun

Who says you can't going camping in your own home? Kaitlyn and I had our own little camping trip today. What's better than roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on chopsticks over red pajama pants fire? Or going fishing in the swing full of fish? And sleeping under the tent made from a Mickey blanket, stools and a doll high chair? Don't forget the hot chocolate!! It was quite a fun adventure but it is always good to come home. :) Here are some pictures of our trip!
