November Pictures

We continue to be thankful for the blessings God has given us, 2 of them being our little girls.  Kaitlyn is such a sweet little girl who is sometimes too smart for her own good. :)  Her new favorite thing to do is set the table.  Every time she sets it, she always gives herself a big cup and Daddy a little one.  She even makes the effort to take the cups to the bathroom sink to put water in them.  Too sweet!  Taylor is learning so many new things.  She really enjoys hitting her little duck and butterflies hanging from her play mat.  Her hips are responding wonderfully to the brace that she has on. Hopefully only another month in it.  She has recently attended her first couple of Bible classes and LOVES it!  Today she sat the entire class time enjoying watching the activities.  She's quite a little social baby and loves to talk and smile at just about everyone.  She has even giggled a few times, mostly when I am undressing her.  It's adorable!  I can't wait to hear more of them.

Kaitlyn LOVES to help around the house. The other day she just insisted on mopping the floor for me.

Taylor is all about talking to whoever will listen. She's definitely a social baby. Taylor was having her own little conversation with Kaitlyn. Pretty sweet!

Our Life, Updated

Taylor is growing so quickly! She had her 1 month appointment this week and she is almost 9 pounds. I think it's safe to say that she's a good eater. Kaitlyn still adores her. We have to remind Kaitlyn to let up on the hugs and kisses every once in a while. She just can't get enough of her.

Kaitlyn-isms

So a friend created the word "Kaitlynisms" and I liked it! Kaitlyn has said some pretty funny and sweet things these past couple weeks. I thought I'd share a few.

*We were on our way to church last week and Kaitlyn pipes up and says, "I have gas." Okay so we thought it was really funny!

*Today, Kaitlyn was trying to address her teacher. She started with Miss...and couldn't think of her name. The teacher proceeded to tell her that her name was Teresa like her Grandma's name. She then asks, "What do you call your grandma?" Kaitlyn replies, "Grandma."
"Yes, but her name is Teresa. Does your Mommy have a name?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"Yes, but her name is Teri. Do you know your Daddy's name?"
Kaitlyn sat and thought for a minute and then says, "Honey."

* Kaitlyn was talking to her Grandma and said, "I turned into a big sister!"

* Since I had a C-section I was unable to hold or pick up Kaitlyn for a couple weeks. She recently asked, "Mommy, is your tummy better?" I said, "It is!" She said, "Wahoo! Now you can hold me!"

* As she is attempting to go potty she says, "Mommy, can you shake it out of me?"

* As I'm tucking her into bed at night she says, "Mommy, I'm a blessing and a miracle." The next morning she crawls into bed with me and whispers, "I'm an answered prayer."

Baby Countdown!

We are now on a baby countdown! Little Taylor will be here on Monday, August 24th! Since she is still breech, the C-section is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. We have to be there bright and early at 5:30. We're very excited! Check back for pictures and updates on our newest family member!
