Our Life, Updated

Taylor is growing so quickly! She had her 1 month appointment this week and she is almost 9 pounds. I think it's safe to say that she's a good eater. Kaitlyn still adores her. We have to remind Kaitlyn to let up on the hugs and kisses every once in a while. She just can't get enough of her.

Kaitlyn-isms

So a friend created the word "Kaitlynisms" and I liked it! Kaitlyn has said some pretty funny and sweet things these past couple weeks. I thought I'd share a few.

*We were on our way to church last week and Kaitlyn pipes up and says, "I have gas." Okay so we thought it was really funny!

*Today, Kaitlyn was trying to address her teacher. She started with Miss...and couldn't think of her name. The teacher proceeded to tell her that her name was Teresa like her Grandma's name. She then asks, "What do you call your grandma?" Kaitlyn replies, "Grandma."
"Yes, but her name is Teresa. Does your Mommy have a name?"
"Yes, Mommy."
"Yes, but her name is Teri. Do you know your Daddy's name?"
Kaitlyn sat and thought for a minute and then says, "Honey."

* Kaitlyn was talking to her Grandma and said, "I turned into a big sister!"

* Since I had a C-section I was unable to hold or pick up Kaitlyn for a couple weeks. She recently asked, "Mommy, is your tummy better?" I said, "It is!" She said, "Wahoo! Now you can hold me!"

* As she is attempting to go potty she says, "Mommy, can you shake it out of me?"

* As I'm tucking her into bed at night she says, "Mommy, I'm a blessing and a miracle." The next morning she crawls into bed with me and whispers, "I'm an answered prayer."
